A Boarding and Behavior Center
Vermont Dog Boarding and Behavior Center (VT Dog B'n'B) helps owners and their dogs, no matter what the problem is. Dogs and their behavior have fascinated me for years, and I have worked passionately with many different breeds, both mixes and purebreds, and have discovered that learning from dogs is an on-going experience. Besides boarding, I also offer in-home consultations to help owners in their own environment with their dogs issues such as aggression, fear, anxiety or dominance. We do not board aggressive dogs, however we will work with them in the owner's home. We are located on 12 acres with a fenced in area that stands 6 feet tall and is 6,000 square feet. Our walk-out basement is used for feeding and treadmill work for all dogs.
We are currently a member in good standing with Pet Care Services Association (formerly ABKA), and Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. Ian volunteers as Vice President and behaviorist for Justice for Dogs, a local rescue organization,

Shiloh(right) is showing Belle(left) how to use the treadmill. This is Belle's first day on the treadmill and as you can see she is doing very well. The slack in both leashes show that dogs like to walk without tension on a leash. If you would like to learn more about putting your dog on a treadmill please contact us at 888-3968, or you can email us at vtdogbnb@yahoo.com.
Emergency Boarding Program
The Emergency Boarding Program was designed to help our customers in case of an emergency. You or your emergency contact will be able to bring your dog(s) to VT Dog B’n’B for a HUGE discount while you or a family member rest and recover. Once the recovery process is over, you can come and pick up your dog.
VT Dog B’n’B has many customers that are constantly travelling either out of state or have long commutes to work. What if there was an accident and you couldn’t get home, or had to spend time in the hospital? Who is going to take care of your dog(s)? Instead of depending on family and friends, your dog will be able to enjoy their time at VT Dog B’n’B in a familiar setting. They can play, socialize and sleep the night away while you have peace of mind.
For an annual fee, this program covers your dog(s) staying at VT Dog B’n’B for up to 30 days. It’s never too late to plan for emergencies, so let us take care of your dogs needs.
